FlamingWeenie art peaked early in 2003; I gave him a lot of attention and actively solicited fan drawings.

Click the image for a much larger version. Here's a great collage of tasks and lots of various weenies. I only drew two of the fellas in this: The Flaming Weenie (bottom right) and Bean Weenie to the left of that. If you don't see the others attributed individually then their creator identity has been lost forever. That might be good for the guy behind "Bin Weenie", some might take offense to him. |

Initially I planned on drawing a Holiday-oriented FlamingWeenie at every possible occasion, and here was the first for Valentine's Day. |

Embroidered
After turning the original into a vector drawing using Adobe Illustrator, I sent it off to Chris's Aunt who did machine-based embroidering. Here is the first, computer-generated proof she sent me which would later actually be stitched into shirts! |

I was hit by a car on 01/02/03, so Chris Kopp (aka Reggit) added a Weenie being hit by Miss Weenie. The first thing I had said when I sat up in the street (after being hit) was, "Where's my hat?" Also, the red thing on Miss Weenie is supposed to be a butt a la I R Baboon. |

I shrunk and further optimized the original image so it would fit nicely in a signature which had the tag-line: "It wouldn't be broken if you were developing locally". That referred to developers at eNom writing code directly on a shared server rather than working on their own machines. FlamingWeenie's grumpy look, his hands on his hips, conveyed my obvious disapproval. |

Chris suggested I show his daughter Kelly my technique for drawing weenies (which is very haphazard I assure you), and this is what came out. He looks like a bean, hence his title. His mouth turned out as it did because of where I started the main weenie shape. I think it gives him personality; he looks as if he's trying to relax but can't. |
